Meet Melissa

Melissa grew up in Lumsden, Sk. She fell in love with massage therapy early on and graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in 2009. She is registered and remains in good standing with the NHPC association. Melissa had owned and operated her own practice in Regina for 8 years before moving to Saskatoon area and starting up again in Warman. She specializes in TMJ dysfunction and head/neck injuries. She is also certified in massage for infants, prenatal care, bamboo fusion, hot stone, and aspects of reflexology.

In her spare time Melissa is usually spending time with her family, attempting to keep a garden alive, and always learning new courses to add to her massage practice.

Meet Amber

Amber completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction and then went on to pursue her Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a vestibular therapist which means she has additional training in assessing and treating vertigo and dizziness. She grew up in Saskatoon but now lives in Warman and has enjoyed living and working in this community.

Amber wants to work with you to teach you the tools to understand your body, any injuries and manage your pain. She tailors each treatment session to meet your needs and goals with a focus on collaborative care. Beginning treatment with Amber means you will have consistent long-term support throughout your life.

Her caring approach has connected her with people struggling with TMJ pain (jaw dysfunction), dizziness and vertigo, knee and back pain. At Nova, she also treats pregnancy related joint and muscle pain and pediatric conditions such as torticollis and plagiocephaly. She is able to assess and treat all areas of the body.

In your treatment she will access a variety of tools which may include exercise prescription, manual hands on techniques, education and collaboration with other professionals. She has taken multiple vestibular and dizziness courses in order to better understand and treat these conditions and is certified in Functional Range Conditioning.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading a good book and finding new activities to keep her active. She loves to play soccer, swim, spend time at the lake during the summer or ski in the winter. You’ll often see her walking around Warman with her dog Ali!

Meet Sheridan

Sheridan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with Distinction from the University of Alberta and her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Sheridan grew up in Langham, SK and enjoys being able to support a community close to home.

Sheridan uses a client-centered approach to help you understand and manage your injury, pain, and condition. She will teach you self-management strategies and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan focused on achieving your goals. Sheridan uses a variety of tools throughout treatment including manual techniques, exercise prescription, and education. She is able to assess and treat all areas of the body.

Sheridan has a special interest in working with individuals impacted by sport-related injuries and concussions. She is also pursuing further education in orthopedics and pelvic health.

In her spare time, Sheridan enjoys participating in various sports and activities, going fishing, playing cards, and hanging out with her dog Koda. Sheridan spent 5 years playing college basketball during her undergraduate degree and continues to coach basketball in the community.

Meet Kara

Kara is committed to assisting you through a shared decision-making approach that utilizes manual therapy, education and exercise instruction. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction and her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Kara received the award for the highest aggregate grade in academic and clinical physiotherapy courses for her graduating class.

She has earned additional certifications in Biomedical Dry Needling, Cervical and Thoracic Manipulation, Strength and Conditioning in Rehabilitation and Functional Range Conditioning. These courses provide her with additional tools to assist your recovery.

Booking with Kara will give you the space and accountability to learn self-management skills and improve your understanding of pain or specific condition. She listens carefully to your concerns in order to build a personalized strategy to help you achieve your goals. She is able to assess and treat all areas of the body.

Kara has a special interest in working with individuals seeking support for scoliosis, headaches, hip and shoulder pain, runners, golfers, CrossFit athletes and anyone looking to learn more about exercise.

Meet Jennifer

Jennifer grew up in Saskatoon and began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant. After a few years she decided to pursue nursing, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. Jennifer has spent most of her nursing career working in homecare; working the majority of her shifts in the treatment center clinic where she works a lot with diabetic and vascular clients.

Jennifer saw a big need for nursing foot care for many of her clients at the treatment center so she took her Advanced Foot Care course in Moose Jaw to further her education. Jennifer believes all clients should have proper foot care done by a professional to improve mobility and quality of life, especially those at risk with underlying conditions and neuropathies.

Jennifer is able to treat thickened nails, ingrown nails, corns, calluses and assess for decreased sensation to the feet.

Jennifer enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband, twins and dog Beamer. She loves the city of Warman and getting to know new people in the community.
